And now they're finally going to make the pitching change.

They are sacrificing this poor kid's arm.

That's the way to do it! Love 11 pitch walks that drive in a run

Hopefully Frazier was paying attention to Robinson's at bat there.

Round of applause of Robinson that at bat.

Horrific management from the Pirates. This game was still reasonably close, and they threw it away while forcing a career reliever to throw almost 60 pitches in less than two innings.

Long inning here. 5-0. I'd tell Cueto to take a shower.

I agree. I was all for him pitching the 9th, but this inning has taken forever.

Agreed, let Parra or Ondrusek finish it out.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Thom was talking about who gets sent down when Heisey returns, but what has Heisey ever done to insure he gets a spot back?

I agree...that would settle it for me too. He's still kinda fresh from a little layoff too. Great game!

Grinded out. Like a Choo or Votto at bat. Unlike, Frazier shouldn't of hacked at that first pitch.

Thom and Casey are just now coming to this conclusion too.

DFA's by the Royals in the off-season. Won a minor league gold glove last year, fwiw.

I think knowing the way things are, Heisey will be back...and I can't argue against that. That's a moot question.

But when it's time for him to come back I'd put my finger in the air and keep the hotter of DRob or Lutz. (I was for sending DRob down a few weeks ago, now I've flipped)
