Always kind of wanted to see the Reds get Liriano.

Liriano is perfectly pitching a perfect game through 3 perfect innings. Perfect game.

    One down for the Pirates.

Liriano now with a base hit to help himself.

Nice thinking Leake. Make him run the bases. Maybe that will wear him out.

Another base hit makes it runners on first and second.

At the game with my son for his first road game and he says"I don't ever want to watch the Reds play away from Cincinnati if all they're going to do is strike out!". A few Pirates fans got a kick out of it but I don't think it's so funny.

Leake gets his first strikeout there, and it's two out.

Cards with a run in bot 3 and still hitting, 1-0 STL over SF

UPDATE....Cards with 3 runs in the 3rd and still hitting, 3-0 over SF

McCutcheon pops out in foul territory to end the inning.

Leake hangs a slider but McCutchen misses it, still scoreless.
