The one weakness the Reds have is no reliable Lefty out of the pen while Marshall is out.. Perfect example in the 8th, If Marshall was there he is pitching to Jones.. Reds need to get another lefty since there is no faith in Para in a situation like that

We won't see Ondrusek in this game?

Maybe you need BP in there to keep the defense in check. Everyone is trying to one up him

Parra already pitched today and he threw well too.

No, the jinx was when I switched from the Pirates telecast to the Reds on MLB.com because I couldn't stand listening to the Bucs announcers. The game turned then.

If we get out of this inning and fail to score...yeah, I think we'll see Logan next. Save Chapman for once we get the lead or once we HAVE to go to him. Hmmm...I guess we could go to Chapman first then Logan. But once Simon went in there, you leave him out there for several innings. It IS his purpose.

Just getting in the game thread, not sure if you have seen the Cardinals showing the world "how to play the game"

Ugh... that low pitch has been a strike all day for the Pirates.

I said something stupid about Broxton last night when I pulled up the game thread/game cast in a rather foul mood. Have no foul mood to blame for my behavior today, so I'll just say I don't think he's very good and that contract is a freaking albatross.
“The crows seem to be calling my name,” thought Caw.
