Mesoraco is reaching the point where he might want to engage in some offensive production.

We score and get lots of runners early, and then the offense disappears.
Leaves the door open for the opposition to come back.
We just can't manage to land the knockout punch.
What's the difference between that and scoring four runs, scattered over the first 7 innings?

I always kinda like Jeff Branson, Branno as George Grande would say, but how is he a major league hitting coach?
(Referring to Jack Hannahan signing with a Korean team)
Since there are no teams on the moon, I guess South Korea's far enough from Cincinnati to satisfy me.

What would the knockout punch be? Just out of curiosity.

Nothing, but it gives the opposition time to come back.

They have the same amount of time, outs and innings no matter when the Reds score. If anything, I would think scoring 4 in the first would be demoralizing to the other team.

scoring 4 runs over multiple innings gives the opposition the same amount of time to come back

Presley reaches on a grounder. The throw from Iztuis is just a little off and goes off Votto's glove

Nice play by Izturis, Votto makes that play more often than not.

Second time Votto's been asleep on defense. He just didn't stretch out enough to get the throw from Izturis.
