I think it's done for both sides for now. The Pirates had to know they had one coming. Walker just took his base and now we get back to baseball.

Gomez has been lifted for Mazzaro, maybe hurt?

Mazzaro is pretty bad at baseball.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

We expected to get into the Pirates bullpen early.

Latos is the pitcher on the Reds staff who is the most likely carrier of the Gibson/Drysdale gene.
Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.

Pirate fans are in pain after watching that first inning. Does that count as injury?

Gomez feeling some tightness in his right forearm, they report, that's why he's out. Choo walks, one on.

He's been very good this year. But before that, yeah, he's been pretty bad.

Choo is like Votto, even when he's slumping he finds a way to get on.

I can't wait for this series to end so I don't have to hear Sean Casey repeat himself anymore
(Referring to Jack Hannahan signing with a Korean team)
Since there are no teams on the moon, I guess South Korea's far enough from Cincinnati to satisfy me.

Choo walks. It seems that as his BA goes down, his OBP doesn't suffer at all.
