Was I wrong to think CI bunting Hanny over to 2nd would be a bad idea? I'm a fan of the sac bunt if you can get that RISP.

It's all gravy once we turn the lineup over at Izturis.
    Is it "next season" yet?

Does it matter? Choo is in a funk right now -- should someone tell him how much money he is costing himself right now?

Of course even in a funk he's getting on base far more than that guy that used to patrol CF....
The older I get - the better I was

and yes - I hate the Cardinals (Reds fan since 1958)

    I miss Raisor

Nice pitch. Cuddyer strikes out looking. 2 Ks.

Choo isn't hitting that line drive down the opposite field, third base line. In April the guy either walked, HBP, or hit one of those.

Those opposite field shots down the line have completely stopped.

Could be they are pitching him more inside, not concerned about the HBP, daring him to pull the ball.

Could it be possible that Chris Welsh is the most sabremetric announcer in baseball? Any other contenders?

Helton taps one to third and that's the final out of the inning.

It's too bad he clearly has to reign himself in for the general audience/Thom.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Yep. Thom is not one of the contenders.
