Seriously, why in the world would you pull Arroyo here? It probably won't matter, but still, that's a strange move.

When Arroyo loses it, he loooooses it. I have no problem with this move

Yeah, Reds should use Ondrusek here just to make a point.

Something about Chapman is already warm.

And when he's on, he's pretty damn good. He's on and then some tonight. Low pitch count and everything. Makes no sense.

Because opponents are hitting .333 off him after 75 pitches in a game?

81 pitches is not that low for Arroyo

He's been on PLENTY of times and lost it pretty quickly these last couple years.

Chapman hasn't pitched much. Needs the work.
"Man, the pitch looks fast, even in slow motion." Thom Brennaman on Chapman's fastball.

Because it was 1-0 and they made the decision to pull him. Heart of the lineup coming up and Chapman certainly needed a bit of work.

Once you get the 3 run lead, you've already told Bronson he was done so he's mentally checked out. So he's done regardless. They had Chapman throwing at full steam, might as well use him. Warming and sitting usually is a bad idea. Worse if it's done multiple times of course, but the point remains.
