I'm sorry but if a guys is having back problems 3 times in a year I'm worried some but come on still. He's def really really good when he pitches. Could just be bad luck I'm not sure but I'm def not giving up on him.
I guess the big question is whether the delivery turned him into the ace we know and love or that just coincided with him naturally getting better at pitching. Still not sure I buy the connection between delivery and all the oblique strains. It doesn't seem like there would be all that much torque on his oblique until he got back to a normal position and unloaded anyway.Originally Posted by Wonderful Monds

I would guess they send Pedro back down after this start. Perhaps activate Heisey in the next day or two then send down Lutz and Pedro and bring Cingrani back up.
FWIW, Cueto is saying he will be ready to go June 16th, the first day he's eligible. He's been able to continue throwing, and he's not going to change his delivery.
He had all winter to get better.
