He took care of that lefty. Ohh he's a loogy. Makes sense.

I wouldn't care how many more runs the Rockies scored tonight, I wouldn't pull Parra from this game to waste another BP arm, and I know there's an off day tomorrow.

Manny could end up striking out the side
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
If the starter had pitched six decent innings tonight, the relief pitching usage would have been completely different.
The bullpen hasn't done well lately, they don't get a pass. But tonight, the Reds were using their lesser relievers beginning in the fifth inning.
It all traces back to the Villareal decision.

Now he's approaching these other guys like they're middle-of-the-order batters. Where are these pitches to Cargo and Tulo???
Rounding third and heading for home...
how long has this half inning lasted?
I have a 7:30 tee time -- thinking I may be late
The older I get - the better I was
and yes - I hate the Cardinals (Reds fan since 1958)
I miss Raisor
On a positive note....Reds pitching has SHUT DOWN the Rockies #7 hitter.
Baseball is like church. Many attend, few understand

He did it, he struck out the side! Manny is untouchable!!

It's been discussed pretty extensively on this thread. Sir Charles thinks the Reds had little choice.
But since Cueto didn't feel right after last Friday's game, the Reds could have looked ahead and kept Cingrani in waiting for tonight. He pitched Sunday or Monday at AAA instead.
The Reds also could have made a roster move and brought up Reynolds or Gallaraga who are not on the forty man roster.
Villareal is not having a good minor league year and was a sitting duck tonight. IMO the Reds did not use their best pitching depth for this ballgame.

If I was Dusty, I would tell everyone to not come to the ballpark tomorrow and take a break from baseball.
Anyone else thinking this team lost steam when BP got sidelined? Not the same team since Cleveland. Lazy....lazy....lazy.
#0 now pitching for the Rockies. I don't think I've ever seen that before.
Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.
