What a wonderful night for the Reds to discard a game.

The Cards have Kelly on the mound with his stellar 6.23 e.r.a. pitching.

Might have been a good night to gain some ground with a real pitcher starting.

Actually they've got 2 other starters who are doing well in Louisville IIRC. But neither are on the 40-man roster. The options were limited. Corcino is down there too, but he's struggled thus far in AAA.
    2014 predictions:
99-63 WS champs (Cards take 2nd WC, Mil 3rd, Pit 4th, Chi 5th)
Bruce/Votto neck and neck MVP race (neither takes it)
    Bailey CYA winner
    Hamilton ROY & GG

The Cardinal suck up from MLB Network just mentioned the Reds traded DD because they valued or liked Cozart more. Just go back to talking about the Cardinals...that is the only thing you care about.

Home blue isn't the reason the Reds are getting waxed, but his zone is all over the place.

Any thoughts on when Hanigan crosses the Mendoza Line?

Just to be safe, you might want to add an 'if' to that question.

You make good points.... but as I mentioned....the Red for the last 3 years seem to do weird and dumb things with their 40 man roster...and seem to loathe making obvious moves to clear room on that 40 man roster.

And the fact they refuse to get rid of dead weight players like Valdez and now Izturus.

Serious question: who would they replace them with?

That number for Parra is surreal....well, there you go, it's even more surreal now...opponents average against him is now over .395...wow.

I would have to think Negron could do just as good....but really better than him.

I do not know who is else is available to help even for a bag of balls from a non -contender. Bad juju when it comes to picking up backup MI, especially SS the last 3 years.

Reds bullpen is looking more like a cowpen.
