Parra needs to be jettisoned immediately. I don't care who takes his place.

It all traces back to the Villareal decision.
Meh. I was in the group disparaging the decision to pitch Villareal, like you.

The bullpen just looks really porous tonight. Not sure a quality start would have been enough anyway.

But I would have rather seen Galarraga, although he's not on the 40-man. But he had some successful years in the majors.

Parra taking one for his teammates, making Brox and Sam look better by giving up 3 in today's 8th inning.

Meh. Time to get my sheets out of the dryer, make my bed, make myself a bowl of ice cream, and get ready for Family Guy on the Cartoon Network. I need to laugh after this disaster of a game.

Baseball's pay structure is so incredibly messed up, which I know isn't news to anyone here...but for a pitcher who, at this point, let's about every other batter he faces get a base hit, yet makes $1mm a year, like Parra is just out of whack. At least in the NFL, you perform or you get cut and don't get paid.

I wonder what kinda season Cargo could have in a Reds uniform. Feels like he hits a hr every other at bat in our ballpark.

This is why every parent in the US who has a young kid who likes baseball should teach them to throw left-handed... and play catcher, too.
Rounding third and heading for home...

    I'm calling it now.

    A solo HR.
    A grand slam.
    And another walk-off grand slam.

    You heard here first!

My two year old is a lefty and I was thinking the other day that it limits the positions he can play. Maybe dads everywhere will do this and it will phase out 2b, SS, 3b and C.

You're not joking. My wife was thinking I've lost it when I said we're starting to save up for baseball camps, training equipment, and tutoring. Lets just say they don't make it into the bigs. Maybe it just pays for college, I'll still be ahead. Good thing I have two boys.
