our local high school girls were ranked #1 and undefeated then went all Reds like and had their season collapse in the last week after their star 2B got hurt -- but 4 of the 8 are freshman including the 2B so look out

I hope Villareal enjoyed his time in the majors because I don't think he will be back. Same for Parra. Even though we will most likely see him again. You really wonder why Villareal is on the 40 man roster. Makes more sense to have a veteran like Galarraga on the roster who can come up in an emeergency and maybe give you a decent outing.
The Reds hould have just gone ahead and rested Votto and Choo this game. They had very little chance of winning it anyway. At least they didn't lose any ground to the Cardinals. That's about the only good that came out of the last two days.
