Interesting Article by Gammons on Shoulder Injuries: Ludwick

I thought this was a good article by Peter Gammons on the Baseball Analytics Website on players returning from major shoulder injuries. Does make me wonder if this should dampen one's hopes for Ludwick having a big impact when he returns.

The article stressed the importance of the lead shoulder. Ludwick hurt his trailing shoulder. Not sure if that makes a difference. Probably gonna take some time either way.
A summer watching a bad Reds' team, is still a pretty good summer.

It absolutely makes a difference. While it will still matter coming off of a shoulder injury, the front arm provides a lot more power than the back arm.
