Choo is supposedly one of the two best hitters against righties. This is a tough righty. Choo, Votto and Bruce have to lead the way against this guy. I am not impressed by Choo's long at bat walk.
Glad your not my boss if that doesn't impress you.

Wainwright had walked 5 batter unintentionally until then

I agree that it's speculation. But I don't think these games are any more important than the next series. I do think that Phillips' health for the season is more important than him playing tonight.

Yep. He should have had Beltran's grounder.

Totally agree with you on the importance of the series. (Barring a cardinal sweep and 6 games out)

However if dusty was saving Brandon for the start of this series.. he should have got at least an AB and an inning in the field...

But there's nobody on this team that was on it in '95. You seem to forget that the Reds are the 2nd best team in all of baseball, and how good where the Cards in the post season last year? 3-1 lead over SF and then what?

Too much season left for the Reds to get sad, or the Cards happy.

Great pennant race with the loser dam near guaranteed a wild card!

Maybe. He has also looked a bit hesitant and awkward on some DP attempts.

Reds with 2 hits and 6 K's through 5 innings. Offense not close to what the Cardinals is.

Molina blasts a double to the center, at the wall.
