Another two-out hit. It's now 3-0.
Man this sucks!!!
Now its time to get really drunk!
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."
"I talked to an advance scout that told me if Joey Votto and Albert Pujols were on the same team he'd advise his team to do the unthinkable...pitch around Votto to get to Pujols." - Buster Olney, ESPN
I think we have to admit at this point the cards are the best team in baseball. Fortunately the reds are the 2nd best.
Reds #5 starter against Cards #1 starter. Winning this one would be gravy.
"Man, the pitch looks fast, even in slow motion." Thom Brennaman on Chapman's fastball.
Red in Chicago (06-07-2013)
This Cards team can really hit. Kinda neat to see the team approach they have.
This place use to be fun
Wainwright grounds out, but it's 3-0 Cards in the middle of the fourth. Well, we didn't want the Reds to go up 4-0, so let's see how they do with the other side at 3-0.
Inning finally over on a groud out to short. 3-0 Cards mid 4th
Yup, continue to roll over and play dead for these guys.
We'll be in the bullpen in the 6th, if not before. Not good.
