What the @#@@# is Cozart even thinking there?

Down by six runs, with two outs but a man on 2B.

Takes a 1-2 pitch from Wainright right down Broad!

Is he trying to remind us of his buddy Stubbs?????

Kid's a fine fielder, but he sure isn't a smart hitter.

Given the Ervin pick, maybe the Reds should move Hamilton back to SS.

Runs weren't scored the same way though. The reds simply piled it on late

It shows the Cards are vincible.

I believe the Reds bullpen has allowed 14 runs in the past two games.

Actually nothing, it just amazes me he bats second....

It's like making the shot putter run the 100 meter dash. It boggles my mind that's its been allowed to happen this long. But, lets not digress into a Patterson, Taveras, and Stubbs batting lead off tangent

Votto letting the pressure get to him. Did anyone else see him engulfing an energy bar after his second at bat ground out? Like immediately afterward....probably wished he had a fancy coffee to chug it down

My bold prediction as I talk to myself in this game thread. The Cardinals come crashing back to Earth ....finish the season only 7 games over .500 and 4 back of the Reds

seems like the Cards took the Rockies scouting report from the past series.. PLUS they know how to hit with men on base... Sadly the Reds are not taught tht

At this point, I won't be surprised if the Cards don't continue on as worldbeaters for the rest of the season, end up with another ring & make it look like it was pretty darn easy in the process. Hate to say it, but you wait and wait on these guys to regress and they seemingly never do.

Reason for prediction is their AVG is not sustainable with RISP ....how many line drives have been at fielders today? Also, either Beltran, Holliday or Molina spend over a month on the DL
