Stephenson is posting Cingranian numbers in his last six starts: 38.2IP 19H 4ER 5BB 50K 0.93ERA.
I'm with you guys, he should absolutely skip Bakersfield if he has 2-3 more starts like this. Spend the rest of the year in Pensacola after a few more starts in Dayton, and then spilt between Pensacola and Louisville next year. Have him ready by the beginning of 2015 season.
While I am very happy/impressed with Stephenson's success this year, I really hope we don't push him too fast.
