And Choo has struck out. So we've got extra innings here.

Double switch would have been nice.

I remember one time going out to the mound to talk with Bob Gibson. He told me to get back behind the batter, that the only thing I knew about pitching was that it was hard to hit.

Quick inning. Extra innings haven't been kind to the Reds.

He couldn't have done any worse than Paul did.

I know what you mean though.

Hate to be a doomsdayer, but we're in serious trouble with our bullpen. Serious trouble. If this cards team has 7 games on us at the break we ain't winning the division. If the cards come down to earth and play a little over .500 ball, we'll have to play lights out baseball the rest of the season.

We might be sendin some prospects for pitching.

Welcome back, folks. Partch gives up a grand slam, and it's 11-4 Cards.

    Arrrrrrrrgh!!!!!!!!!

Not the way Partch wanted to start his major league career, I'm sure.
