Looked to us like it rolled into the batter's box, but the ump couldn't see it around Molina's neck tat.

That was a big inning destroyed by an umpire's call. I'm not a hundred percent he was wrong, but looked like it.

Reds may have got a break last night, but this season they seem to be the victim of a lot of bad calls.

    Whatever.
The foul line runs through the batter's box. If the fielder picks up the ball on the fair side of (or on) the imaginary line running through the box, then it is a fair ball.

At least we don't get Rick Sutcliff tonight

It's really weird that those ads behind home aren't actually there.

agree -- I thought it was picked up outside that line but the ump was blocked I guess

Mmm. Ok, I'll accept it then. Otherwise I was going to be angry all night.

    Thanks.

    Looked good.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."
