That was a big inning destroyed by an umpire's call. I'm not a hundred percent he was wrong, but looked like it.
Reds may have got a break last night, but this season they seem to be the victim of a lot of bad calls.
The foul line runs through the batter's box. If the fielder picks up the ball on the fair side of (or on) the imaginary line running through the box, then it is a fair ball.
