Pensacola's suspended game from yesterday. They led 4-zip when the game was suspended and led 5-2 heading into the bottom of the ninth. Loek Van Mil came on to save the game and surrendered three hits, a walk, a hit batsman, and two dingers. Wahoo lose 7-5.

Newest Blue Fish, Trevor Bell, pitched two hitless innings, striking out three. Hayes and De La Rosa got the lead to the ninth.
Corey Wimberly had three hits. Ray Chang went 3-4, with a home run and three ribbies. Chang is hitting .429 at Pensacola. Brodie Greene slapped a pair of singles. Theo Bowe had a ninth-inning pinch hit jack.

Tough night so far for Dayton at Fort Wayne.

Drew Cisco absolutely got hammered, lasting less than three innings and giving up 8 runs. Alejandro Chacin came on in to register the last out in the third. But not before walking two and allowing a hit to add fuel to the fire.

    Fort Wayne leads 10-zip.

    DSL Reds fall 4-3.

Of note: Jacob Constante is pitching in the DSL. He pitched a scoreless inning in relief. He allowed a walk and struck out a batter.

Miguel Mendez, Jose Siri, Erick Gabo, Geraldo Valor each with two hits. Small sample size, but, Siri must have a little pop in his stick. In seven games he has a double, two triples and three bombs. He plays center.

DSL Rojos fall 12-3. Not much of note for the Rojos. It appears that the Rojos are a Reds/Dbacks split team. I have no idea which player belongs to which organization.

Dayton, trailing 14-0 going into the ninth, have rallied for one. Still batting.

No positives on the mound tonight.

Amaral, Terry and Rahier each with two base knocks.

All quiet in the regularly-scheduled game between Pensacola and Mississippi.

Shaun Ellis appears to be in the rotation now. He has pitched three no-hit, no-walk innings so far, striking out two.
Theo Bowe has the lone Pensacola safety, a single.

Did Travieso make his second start yet?

Also, I wonder if Constante is headed to the AZL once they get underway?

Louisville rallied for a useless pair of runs in the ninth and fall 5-2.

Singles by Donald and Schmidt along with a HBP to Negron loaded the bases. Hamilton and Corky had RBI ground outs.

Negron also doubled. I would think long and hard about him replacing Izturis. He plays excellent defense all over the field and his OPS is now north of .700 after a slow start. Reds are probably have Jason Donald as next in line though.

Pensacola drops its second game by a score of 2-1. They took the lead in the top of the sixth with their lone tally. Mather scored on a Tucker Barnhart double. Barnhart also walked in the game. Wahoos managed just four hits.

Shaun Ellis with a notable start: 5IP 2H 1R 1ER 1BB 4K. Ellis was replaced by Brian Pearl in the bottom half of the sixth after issuing his lone walk with one out. Pearl gave up a couple of hits and the lead. Chris Manno lost it in extras.

Dragons rally for four in the ninth and come up just shy. Well, 10 shy to be exact. And they fall 14-4.

There were no pitching efforts worth noting in a positive vein. Drew Cisco did suffer his worst outing as a professional. He failed to go three full and allowed 8 runs.

Amaral, Terry and Rahier each collected two hits. Junior Arias clubbed a 3-run blast in the ninth.

Bakersfield averted an 0 for 7 day for the farmhands by mauling Visalia 13-7. The Blaze collected 19 hits.

    Mike Dennhardt pitched six effective innings. 6IP 7H 2R 2ER 2BB 3K.
Brooks Pinckard muddled through a scoreless frame, walking two.
Jake Johnson is finding the bullpen no safer a haven. He struck out two in his inning of work but allowed three runs on five hits.

All nine regulars hit safely in the game.
Three hits each by Wright, Waldrop and Berset.
Two hits each by Rodriguez, Smith, Selsky and Perez.
Home runs by Wright, Rodriguez, Selsky and Duran.
Yorman Rodriguez also doubled and drew a walk.
