The fielders should each take a ball with them and coordinate when to hold it up for the out.

Seems to be much worse for us at home and the guys in the booth.

    Yep.

Pretty much like tonight- players could see on field level, cameras blocked out by the fog.

I remember that Eagles-Bears NFL playoff game one year where you couldn't really see anything at all on TV, but from field level, they had some pictures where you could see moderately well under the layer of fog. Still looks freaky.

I was at this game probably 5 years ago now. You couldn't see anything from up high, but if you were at field level you could see fine.

Granted, not sure how it effects fly balls.

I think there was a wild pitch and now Soriano is up with a man on second, two outs.

Soriano strikes out swinging, and the first is over. Reds up 1-0.

Hey, guys, is it foggy in Chicago? I wish Thom and Chris would tell us if it's foggy there.

I don't understand how they can allow this game to be played. I can't see a thing.
Yes that was a very impressive infield single. I thought for a second it was leaving the yard. - texasdave 10/13/12

Because the game isn't being played from the press box or CF scoreboard.

The center field camera is way out there, filming through a LOT of fog. If you were standing at SS you would be able to see a lot better.

I'm still waiting to see what happens when someone really skies one though, that could be trouble.

Hmm, fog looks to have receded a lot for now. Lot more visibility. Paul singles to start the inning.
