Not to jinx us, but what happened to Mr. gloom and doom, Maker?

Did all of this offense bore him to death?

Agreed. I would be much less concerned with Zack if he wasn't batting in the 2 hole. If he was our everyday 8 hole guy, there would be no concerns at all.

Same as when we were Sundeckers ... when the Reds get a game in control, he disappears. He's not the only one either.

    I'm totally with ya.

Bruce is silently having a good year.

If you look at the radar, all these storms they're talking about tonight seem to have dissipated.

It may be "silent" around here, but I don't think it is elsewhere. OPS over .800 now btw.
    2014 predictions:
99-63 WS champs (Cards take 2nd WC, Mil 3rd, Pit 4th, Chi 5th)
Bruce/Votto neck and neck MVP race (neither takes it)
    Bailey CYA winner
    Hamilton ROY & GG

Putnam and Curtis Partch can get together for a beer after the game and talk about their e.r.a.'s.

I'm still not comfortable with Parra coming in. It should be at least a 12 run lead

His counting stats are fine, his rate stats need to impove. Needs to get on base more

I hope Walt is actively pursuing a LOOGY. I can't take much more of Parra.

Putnam's got a ways to go to reach Partch territory. Scary thought.
