    DUSTY BALL!!!!!!
there's nothing like bowling a 300 game! 13 now and retired.

Ricky henderson has a higher OBP than C. patterson and he's retired. C. Trent 6-14-2008

Nice inning, Cingrani (nice assist by Votto).

You know you've got a heck of a starting staff when a kid like Cingrani can't break into the rotation fulltime.
"I talked to an advance scout that told me if Joey Votto and Albert Pujols were on the same team he'd advise his team to do the unthinkable...pitch around Votto to get to Pujols." - Buster Olney, ESPN

I love the way Cingrani sprints off the mound on the 3rd out punchout.
    2014 predictions:
99-63 WS champs (Cards take 2nd WC, Mil 3rd, Pit 4th, Chi 5th)
Bruce/Votto neck and neck MVP race (neither takes it)
    Bailey CYA winner
    Hamilton ROY & GG

Cingrani with only 65 pitches thru 5....much better than earlier this season. He could go 7 or 8.

Kid is darn speedy isn't he. I like how quick he gets to first on those grounders.

Better tack on some runs.....not comfortable with only a 2 run lead in Wrigley.

"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."
