Probably has something to do with the fact Cozart had a good night at the plate last night and Wood is a lefty. It may also have something to do with Izturis being terrible. I simply do not think Cozart should bat in the 2 hole, the organization does not have a better SS at this moment.

I also really like how the lineup is constructed, I just don't understand trotting it out for the first time against a very hot left handed starter. Seems to me this is a setting up a situation where the lineup does not work and after the game Dusty gives a big "told ya so."

Here are Wood's L/R splits this year. Ridiculous BABIP is even more out of whack v Lefties.

I still don't particularly regret trading Travis Wood, but I am starting to wish it hadn't been in our division.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Wow. Fantastic diving play by Brandon Phillips there for the first out.

Best defensive 2B I've ever seen. Let's see Darwin Barney make that play.

I'd like to see what exactly is running through Votto's mind when he takes one of those way late "excuse me" swings.
