Chapman or Leake in the 9th?

Dusty loves him some Chapman...11 straight scoreless appearances if I'm not mistaken.

Handy Manny was warming up...though he's being distracted by a redhead in the front row by the name of Kelly. She runs a hardware store, and you can cut the sexual tension with a knife.

Why can two Righties bat 3rd/4th, but two Lefties can't? Two Righties have batted 3rd/4th successfully over the last dozen decades as well as two Lefties too numerous of times to even list here.
You are preaching to the choir, my friend. I am simply saying what I think is currently going through the mind of Dusty Baker.

    Gregg in for the Cubs.
    2014 predictions:

Bruce/Votto neck and neck MVP race (neither takes it)

Yes, he did. Just goes to show you how much they need to see all of the Stadiums to get a good feel on how to play things. I'd like to say that's Choo's problem, but Choo just looks so, shall I say, completely lost out there in Centerfield.

Lefty hitters don't face lefties that often. Lefty specialists are well versed in retiring lefties. So managers don't like to use multiple lefties in a row if they can help it.

Righty hitters face righties more often.

I would use Choo, Paul/Robinson, Votto, Phillips, Bruce, Frazier.

I like Choo, Paul, Votto against righties.

And you are not susceptible to the lefty reliever because you pinch hit a righty batter for XPaul.

Against lefties I'd use either Robinson second or Cozart sometimes.

What's funny is Choo is 1 for 3 with a double and a walk

Geez. I'd like to get back Travis Wood. Can we trade for him?

Mes with a sharp single to right. He's stung the ball today without much to show for it.

Once again, only the Brewers are better vs LHP in the NL

The Reds are gangbusters vs LHP versus the rest of the league, which is important because that's who they play

But, I don't think it's wise to play for "the situational" circumstances that come up throughout the season, but for the majority of occasions that occur. For me, that's where it doesn't matter if you have two lefties back-to-back anywhere in the lineup.
