I guess mostly this lineup shows the impact of Ludwick's absence against LHP. The only RHH who is hitting lefties hard is Phillips. Reds used to destroy lefty pitching but right now don't have the righty bats to do it.

Still think the Reds should have obtained a stop gap righty bat with some power during Ludwick's absence and still think Cozart should be in there today.
Reds are second in the NL vs LHP with a 749 ops

That has to do with the Pitcher (the most consecutive quality starts by a Cubs pitcher since 1908!), nothing to do with the lineup.

As mentioned a few posts ago, the REDS are coming up to their third time through the lineup. Just like most hitters in this situation, the REDS should start getting better at-bats.

It has nothing to do with the lineup? How do you know what some other lineup would be doing against Wood?

Choo with one to the wall in left center, he's in with a double.

What are the details on that streak cause the Reds lit Wood up for 5 ER less than a month ago.

Choo just misses tying up the game.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Because no other lineup from any other team has been able to do anything either, thus the most consecutive quality starts by a Cubs' pitcher since 1908, the famous Mordacai Brown.

It was prior to that I'd imagine. That loss probably ended the streak.

Ask the Cubs' announcers. They're the ones who said it during the broadcast. Guess I could email them, but that might take a while to get a response. You are probably watching the REDS' broadcast. I don't have that privilege.

That's a pretty lame streak, it would be nice If you could provide details on your assertion for those without access right now.
