I have to head home from work now so hopefully the Reds have kept the lead when I'm able to check back in again later. Have a good night guys!
The storms that blew in about 9 am this morning knocked out the power at my office. I had a big bid due at noon, so I went home and did it on my laptop and emailed it in.

Called and the power was still out at the office, so I took the afternoon off.

    I hate you Nate Schierholtz.

Another triple for Schierholtz. Nothing easy for Latos today. Man on third, one out.

So, basically he deserved the GG

Reds D looking a bit shaky here, but two out. Run scores. 5-4 game.

Cubs within a run now, and Latos won't get a 'quality start'.

Could jay have caught that ball? Or am I being harsh?

I know the Reds have already won three games in this series and going in, I wanted three of four. However, if they lose this game I'll be pissed, it's just nobody from either team is really in tune with the game.
This is the ol Left Hander rounding third and heading for home.

If it's actually awarded to the best defensive player at the position, yes.

He could have, but the wind pushed it just back in. I imagine he thought it was gone.
    Is it "next season" yet?

mother nature having some fun out there

I thought Bruce could have caught that triple. Winds playing some havoc today.

Latos works through the 6th. Strap on the seatbelts for the 7-8-9 innings from the pen.

I've never seen so many fly balls drop in for hits in my life.

Simon in the bullpen. Wonder why not Lecure, Brox, and Chap.

Need somebody in the pen, Latos has had an adventurous day, he might be best off retiring for the day.

Latos at 98 pitches, may see him in the 7th. Mat has been mediocre today, but no confidence in any better options at this point.
