My boss is out of the office today so I may be able to post more throughout this game aside from a meeting I have at 2:50 PM (unless me posting likes is all you guys expect from me today, LOL).

Wind blowing straight in today. Going to take a cannon to get one out in that gale. I wouldn't mind seeing a game with the wind blowing out like that. Those are kinda fun to watch.

The wind may have just taken a HR away from Mr. Choo.

Man, I know intellectually that it doesn't matter all that much in any given game, but in my gut it absolutely kills me to see our worst hitter batting 2nd.
Why not stack lefties? Are we really letting James Russel dictate our lineup? This is a tough pitcher and I hate the idea that we're taking so little advantage of our best hitter's opportunities.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

Sir, hi.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
Off to my meeting....hopefully the Reds have the lead when I get back.
