Yet somehow they have won more games in the NL then every other team in the NL minus the Cards.

Six of the 27 losses have came in the 8th inning or later. That's just way too many games to give away.
This one was bad. Heck the last four blown Sundays have been maddening.

Last year this team took off after the ASB. We'll see what happens this year, but the pen will struggle unless Marshall comes back healthy.

And I can't stand the Cardinals, but they are clearly better than the Reds at the moment. JMO.

IMO, game threads are a place for some level of emotion. I view it separate from the main board which is more 162-game and beyond focused.

Suffering through this one for five hours was almost as bad as working.

File this one under "games that should have been won" There have been several of those lately and the name Sam LeCure figures prominently in most.

I've said it once I will say it again, some people just can't handle watching 162 games.

How bad is it when it is during work?

I agree, but that's true of most losses. They should have won this game, and something needs to be done about the bullpen.

They did win 3 out of the 4, and I don't let this one loss have more meaning than the 3 wins.

This one always comes to mind

I like you as a poster OBM, you're a smart guy, but you don't seem to give your favorite team much slack.

We had the lead going to the 8th and Lecure blew another one while Dusty once again had no one warming up in case of trouble. And yes, other than Bruce the Reds offense was sleepwalking the last 8 innings. Plenty of blame to go around in this one.

If only all posters had this kind of wisdom and common sense.

Very hard to win four straight on the road. This loss is not the end of the world.

Reds obviously need to improve the bullpen. Blaming Dusty Baker for this is just not fair.

You can't manage every inning like the seventh game of the world series.
