It's inexcusable for the manager to leave a relief pitcher in who clearly doesn't have it and is getting hit easily. Ridiculous.

He doesn't have any other options.

Well Mr. Latos didn't exactly do a stellar job of holding leads today himself.

A bloop hit isn't something you can do much about. It sucks, but when you get a weak pop up, you did your job. The ball just found a spot 120 feet from the plate where no one was.

This refrain is getting kind of old. Game after game after game. Yet the Reds are only 2.5 games back.

Chill out. Enjoy a long season in which the Reds have one of the best records in baseball. If it is that upsetting to you, at least try not to ruin it for those that enjoy the success the club is having.

But at the same time, Sam is a guy we simply HAVE to have this season and we've got to get him right. At some point in time you've got to let him pitch his way back into the swing of things, right?

Just one week ago, I don't think there was a single person on this board who didn't think Sam was either the best or second best/reliable arm in the pen.
    2014 predictions:
99-63 WS champs (Cards take 2nd WC, Mil 3rd, Pit 4th, Chi 5th)
Bruce/Votto neck and neck MVP race (neither takes it)
    Bailey CYA winner
    Hamilton ROY & GG

Just out of curiosity, when would you pull a reliever? After one batter gets a hit? two?

If you mean me, you are exactly correct.

I wanted Sam, Brox, and Chapman.

And in the eighth, when men got on, I wanted Sam out. I didn't want him in the eighth and I didn't want him with men on base. Correct.

How hard were the hits off of Lecure?
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.

The Reds have one quality reliever who can be trusted.
    I miss Adam Dunn.

Game has a funny way of evening out, line drive to left-center the at bat before was caught. Sam sucked, no other way to say it.
This is the ol Left Hander rounding third and heading for home.

Clearly is very subjective, and I bet if a manager used the clearly rule to take relievers out after a couple of batters, you'd have guys pitching 110 games.
