Strike one against Robinson was just an awful call.

Wasn't it Nolan Ryan who said pitchers today are wimps?

He has 6 starts in spring training over the past 2 years. I understand not starting him in the majors but Dusty acts like this guy has a 20 pitch limit before he's ineffective.

Why not bring in Chapman to make 4 outs to finish the game?

The guys from Duck Dynasty would be happy to take care of that bird problem for them I bet...

Partch batting in the 12th of a 5-5 game with a runner on. This game is a trial of patience...

We'll look back at this loss at the end of the season as why we missed the playoffs.

How so? Dusty can't manage every game like it's the 7th game of the World Series. No manager should go all out to win every game at all costs. He's got to think about the big picture. It doesn't mean he's not playing to win.

Injuries are going to happen no matter how many innings you throw.

Pedro Borbon seemed to pitch 2 innings every game of the season (hyperbole ).

I agree with Welsh. Pitchers are coddled more today than in yesteryear. Geez, Nolan Ryan used to pitch 300 innings a season and had a 20-year career.
Here it comes. I've had this discussion too...numerous times. You've stepped in it big time.

In theory we've still got Lutz and Cesar to bat, and Chappy and Brox to pitch, plus putting in a starter in the 14th+ if needed. Granted, Parch is making me eat my words
