Back in my day a pitcher would stay out there until his arm fell off, then he'd pick it up, duct tape it back on, and throw another hundred pitches.
    No Victims, by me

    The rest is drama.

Now we see why the Reds drafted all the two way players in the draft. Reds new strategy is to use them to pitch and hit. Get about 9 two way players on the roster.

How quick can Corky get to Chicago?

He's good for a couple innings.

And if that wasn't enough he'd put his glove on backwards and use the other arm for 150 more pitches. Dagnabit.
Zero chance the Reds miss the playoffs!

They used to call Sandy Koufax a wimp too.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Hey Thom, you know what never gets old? When you act personally offended at the Reds inability to score a run. You should do that more often.

If only Villareal had pitched, this game would be over.

Partch might wind up in the minors by virtue of this good outing. Reds might need a fresh reliever while Partch is resting for several days.

    Only half kidding.
