It's a preposition, usually indicating location.

Broxton has been about wht one should expect him to be....let's cross our fingers that is BABIP doesn't normalize. But his was certainly a strange contract from a FO that was getting a reputation of giving smart contracts. Broxton's numbers could be a lot worse.

This is the blueprint for how a baseball organization should be run. And, whether the baseball men of the 20th century like it or not, this is where baseball is going."---Dave Cameron, U.S.S. I hated the signing, but it is nowhere near as bad the Milton contract. Broxton's contract is Daniel Tosh, but Milton's contract is Dane Cook. You try to avoid Tosh, but when there are no other options, he'll do. When I'm forced to watch Dane Cook, I look for forks to shove into my eyes, because that would be less painful than watching him.

    now that is hyperbole

Milton was 3 years for $25.5M of 2004 dollars

What he gave the team was complete dung

To describe Broxton's performance and ridiculous contract as "Miltonian" is hardly hyperbole.

It kind of is, considering Milton had one of the worst years for a starting pitcher ever. Broxton, while disappointing, isn't and won't be nearly that bad.

Do I sense the Walt Jocketty mystique is starting to wear thin?

You mean because the Reds just won 3 out of 4, 4 out of 7, and currently have the 4th best record in MLB?

Yes, the mystique is wearing thin, especially considering where the Reds were before Walt arrived.
