That's fine, I just wasn't sure which one.

    Please do!

Most important thing from the article: Dusty Baker chose to pitch a guy with a sore elbow who the Reds wanted to get examined before he would pitch Aroldis Chapman.

It was nice of Baker to be that informative. He was under no obligation to do that, nor was it necessary.

I wish the media would stop asking about it because there isn't anything Baker can do about it.

It's a rough part of the season where Baker simply doesn't have the horses. It would be great to have the Pirates bullpen, but we don't even have a top-6 bullpen in the National League.

Who told him he could perform right ?

Seriously any day from this point a guy might pitch with a malady

But of course he made that decision by himself alone because everyone knows Baker is the Thor Heyerdahl of baseball

Some times the manager needs to know better. Don't pitch guys you want to get checked out by a doctor before you pitch guys you know are fully healthy.

Imagine if Chapman wasn't our closer. We'd be in deep doo-doo.

On a side note, John Fay continues to be an enemy of the English language.

I know it's a blog post, but have some pride in your work.

    It's embarrassing....

    Spot on Doug.

Anyone want to step up and defend Dusty on this?

Some of the decisions that he makes are mind boggling and our typically made by men who think they know better than anyone else. You can't tell me the rest of the coaching staff follow these moves without their own reservations.

Except there was. He could have pitched Chapman.

Once the media grabs a hold if something like this, it almost sounds like Dusty does it out of spite
