    So close, yet so far.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Complete BS. Bronson gets squeezed on the first two pitches and then that. Complete BS. More need for computers to call balls and strikes.

    Pitch count is very misleading.

When a pitcher like Arroyo comes out eight times to pitch in a close game, it takes its toll. He's not a kid, he's always faded late in games.

Francisco up now, Bronson should be removed now.

Because Bronson was rolling right up until that pitch to Maldonado.

I thought it would be safe with a .165 hitter coming up.......I will insert foot into mouth now and won't say any more.
