It was once widely accepted that the earth was flat. It turned out to be wrong.

I've never accepted it myself. Maybe others have... but it doesn't make it true.

Then let's just use his career numbers, which I already provided, if you are concerned with small samples.

You don't want to use career numbers because you cite age. Now you don't want to use his most recent performance, because you cite sample size.

That's about as blatant an example of cherry-picking stats as I've ever heard.
Well, this year is a bit different, one would have to concede. By my calendar, it's only June so the numbers are very scant. Only 9.1 innings between the seventh and ninth.

But Dusty did remove him and it worked out for the best. As he should have.

I mean, are you watching. Did Arroyo look ready to go further to you?

10 pitches for Aroldis...and we may not see him again for a few days.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Chapman is good. If you haven't noticed.

Meh, I dunno. Could be one of those things that you think you see but it's not really happening, I don't know.

Just seems like when he hits the proverbial wall he loses it really fast, whether it's at pitch 55, 75, 80, 95, 100, wherever.

But I could be wrong. It's happened before, albeit rarely.

If we can't win it in the 9th, I'd put him back out there in the 10th. Only 10 pitches.

    Yep.

And I guess that also answers the question about Chapman.
