Got an early father's day present last night: my ten year old girl was the star of her softball game! Two hits, driving in two and scored twice too. Also made two solid defensive plays from 2nd, throwing two girls out at 1st!

Homer goes tomorrow with a 4:10 game and shadows? Yikes.

    It's about
    the ball,
    the bat,
    the mitt,
    the bases,
    and the fans

7 of 8 were balls....the strike to Choo was borderline at best.

Welsh even said it was a 3-0 Leo

The first pitch was not a strike and it was a curveball...

HS ball does not play for walks...have you met a High School baseball player? Their not taking either. Everyone wants to be the hero.

It isn't just lately. It's the entire first half of the season. I hope they don't come back to haunt us later in the year.

haha, Aoki's reaction to the fan almost getting in the way was pretty good.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Classless move from their Japanese RF there. Pretending to give the ball to a Reds fan? Bush league.
