    Juan's will haunt.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

And a two-run blast for Francisco, and the Brewers are up 4-0. Hoo boy.

Great American Ball Park is a joke from mid June to mid September.
This is the ol Left Hander rounding third and heading for home.

GABP special...I thought that ball by Francisco was a pop up. Unreal.

Chris Welsh supports digging up Red Barber.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. throw francisco balls in the dirt and he'll swing and miss... he doesn't walk and he doesn't hit much but he can hit a fastball. i don't get the Reds approach with him....

All four runs scored with Juan at the plate. That ball just carried out. Homer thinking can't wait to get out of this park.

Make that 8 pitches and now 2 doubles. That was a Frazier-type double there by Ioki.

Homer doesn't have good command today.

That was an interesting conversation with the 91-year old guy that was at VanderMeer's first no hitter. Sounds like the crowd was sparse and quiet. Most didn't even seem to know it was a no-hitter until after the game.

Reds sometimes sure know how to put a buzzkill on a sellout crowd.
