Disagree. There unfortunately are those kind of innings in which you really have to talk to your pitcher a lot. Especially if you and your pitcher are not on the same page on this day. And trust me: You hate these days.

This irritates my wife. Its just a game to me, not a war. The chummy stuff always seems to go away in the playoffs though.

I hate that over a typical 3 hour game, you will have 17 minutes of actual game time.

Wish there some form of clock control between pitches and batters. Keep the pace of the game going.

If a runner is allowed to tag up on such a batted ball, then it must be incumbent upon the fielder to catch it unless he chooses not to. And if he chooses to, it should be an error if it is an easy play to make.

It is classified as an error. Joey Votto had one similar to that earlier this year.
