When I see the 2016 Reds, I see a 100 loss team and no direction.

Personally, I think Joey had "Boy" in the Kardashian baby pool. Dude just can't get over it.
Relax folks. Looong season
The Cardinals refusal to lose is getting to all of us.
The Pirates are also playing great baseball.
You have to tip your cap to those teams. And then beat them when you have the opportunity.
Our Reds are playing nearly .600 baseball still. It's not the Lost Decade any longer.
3 and 1/2 months left to go.

Opposing first base coach is secretly wearing kryptonite under his uniform affecting Superman's, I mean, Joey's play?
The season is long.
"This isn’t stats vs scouts - this is stats and scouts working together, building an organization that blends the best of both worlds. This is the blueprint for how a baseball organization should be run. And, whether the baseball men of the 20th century like it or not, this is where baseball is going."---Dave Cameron, U.S.S. Mariner
Trade him for a new batting cage and the Tundra in the OF.

So who sucked all of the joy out of this season? It's like we saved up for a decade, finally bought our dream car, drove it a little bit and we're now wishing it was a different color.

No, it's not.
It's like driving around a clunker for 10 years, knowing it was a piece of crap but looking forward to when you could have that dream car.
Once you finally get it, because you know you won't always be able to drive that dream car, you worry about every little noise in the engine.

Joey Votto is the reason this team isn't beating the St. Louis Cardinals' best start in the modern era.
re: the thread title
I watched a game yesterday, I'm pretty sure I saw in the same place as usual, on top of his neck.
