I don't like him... He still looked completely disinterested after the play.

Votto's faux-hawk and beard need work too. I look at him and I don't see that hair intensity.

He made a nice heads up play last night, maybe he was in a funk and he has worked his way out of it. I am still shocked that anyone who questions Votto gets beat down in here .

Strangely enough, this post is how I found out Bailey was pitching a no hitter. Where are my priorities? Where has my head been lately? (don't say it, Brutus...) LOL.

Votto must not get paid to be hit by pitches.

His defensive struggles continue, big error in the 9th on an easy ground ball costing Bailey a shut out and an opportunity for a complete game.

But he did save the No No earlier this season, that said Joey Votto must be using Dick Stuarts glove, or one he picked up here

Re: Votto: where's his head lately?

So I guess this thread will be back everytime Votto makes a misplay. I think he's look a lot better of late, made same really nice grabs and stops in the last few series.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."
