Simon getting hit hard. Not comfortable at all with this lead and this pen.
"Man, the pitch looks fast, even in slow motion." Thom Brennaman on Chapman's fastball.

Simon made it interesting, but gets away unscathed.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Not sure why people say they would rather re-sign Bailey than Cueto.

I understand the injury thing, but when healthy Cueto is as good of a pitcher as there is.

I cringe when I hear that about a reliever.

I don't think Bailey will stay here when he becomes a free agent...I would use him in a trade for a right handed power bat/lf and a LH reliever.

Bailey gets frustrated with pitching in GABP.

1-2-3 for Simon. Be great to get another run or two, and then come back to wrap things up in the ninth.
