Stubbs stole 100 bases with the Reds the last three years and was caught 23 times. You can complain about a lot of things with Stubbs, his baserunning isn't one of them.

I hate to beat the Ludwick drum again, but the sooner he gets back...you know. His impact in an already good lineup will make a large difference.

    So.....WHEN DOES HE COME UP??!

The Rockies are beating the Pirates 4 to 1 in the bottom of the 8th inning.

Agreed, I think I only say him get thrown out once going 1st to 3rd, or at home.

His scoring as a percentage of getting on base was exceptional.

I'm a baseball geek and admit it. I am presently 150 games through a replay of the 2012 Reds on the APBA Baseball board game. Stubbs, while hitting around .220 and seldom walking has been effective. He steals at a high rate, plays a terrific CF and as stated scores runs (speed kills) when he is on base. As well he has decent power, not as bad a player as he was made out to be. People were most frustrated with the strikeouts and the lack of bunting ability.

KC Royals have gone 9-1 and gained nothing. Cleveland Indians have gone 8-2 and lost a game. Divisionally speaking.

I would have gone with loathsome, but, yeah.

I saw this when it happened live on SNY and knew it would wind up on Deadspin

Cards/LA on ESPN tonight 6PM EST. LA has not lost a road game since the depression, and Wainwright has been futile since the AS break!
