Eeek. Wonder which whiz kid they'll bring up while miller is on the DL.

They are hoping their bullpen holds up tonight!

This Danny Salazar looks like a hell of a talent for Cleveland, but I have to admit I arched my eyebrow a little when the announcers said he went from throwing 90ish to 98-99 after Tommy John surgery. I have heard of TJ surgery adding a mile or two of velocity, but man...

And Miggy just put Detroit ahead with a HR. Wow.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

I think sometimes the elbow's slowly going for so long that what seems like a guy's normal velocity for years is actually his shredded elbow velocity.

Quiz: the Astros have a last names anagram battery, Cosart pitching, Castro catching, anyone know of another one?

Nolasco throws away a comebacker and it goes for a three base error. Really lousy throw. Descalso to third in 5th but trailing 7-0.

Adams .446 Beltran .419 Holliday .346 2 out and RISP...and they are producing now 7-3 all three with 2 outs and the Nolasco error created all the opportunities. Freese fnally fans for 3rd out. 7-3 Dodgers after 5

Re: Scoreboard Watching 2013 (Part 2)

Pitt is charmed this year --- lead off runner for Miami in 9th -- Stanton AB -- he lines up the middle snagged by 2B who doubles runner up

    Pitt wins
