The Cards ended up with a relief pitcher hitting with runners on the corners and he GIDP to end the inning and my dream of waking up tomorrow and this game still being played continues.

I'm trying hard to be upset about that, but I'm NOT!

I hope the Cardinals win just to hear the Pirates announcers reaction.

Right now the only thing I am rooting for in this game is daybreak.
There is no such thing as a pitching prospect.

Yes, the relief Pitcher because Matheny has burned up the roster.

Using MLB.tv, I really can't decide between the Pittsburgh and St. Louis announcers. Like choosing between a punch in the groin or a kick in the groin.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Somewhere, a Montgomery Burns figure in a Reds cap, is rubbing his hands and saying "Egggggggscellent."
Rounding third and heading for home...

In other related extra inning action tonight, the D-Backs and Orioles are tied at 3-3 in the 11th.

Do the Orioles even play nine-inning games anymore?

I have no idea what his save % or whatever is, but I swear every time I see the Orioles, Jim Johnson is blowing the save.

Single by McCutchen followed by a wild pitch. 3.14rates have a runner at 2nd and no outs.
