Single for Pedro, first & third none down.

With runners at second and third and one out, Clint Barmes is receiving what I'm sure is his first career intentional walk without the pitcher being on deck. Josh Harrison up now with the bases loaded and 1 out.

    haha this game is awesome
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Harrison grounds into a double play. Cards escape with no damage lol

Should Cutchy have gone for home on the first out?

Absolutely. Worst case scenario, first and second with one, which isn't much different than first and third and one out.

I've never seen a game with so many Houdini-like jams that yielded no runs.

I tend to agree. He should have been in go on the crack of the bat mode...which does have its risks.

Harrison pitched on Friday. Given the workload of the Pirates' bullpen and Harrison's hitting as of late, they may want to move him into the pen permanently.
There is no such thing as a pitching prospect.
