The contact play wasn't on for McCutchen. Guarantee he was instructed not to go unless the ball gets thru.

If the contact play is on, he scores easily.

The Pirates were 67-54 after beating the Cardinals in a 19 inning game last August.

Reminder there is plenty of time for them to fold.

Cards playing aggressive like you should in the 13th.

    Learn from that Andrew/Pirates.

Pitt intentionally walking Beltran & Craig to bring up the pitcher. Good strategy.

I freakin hate Matt Carpenter but I also kind of have a respect/man crush for him? Kind of like Chase Utley.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

I can never man crush and barely respect Chase Utley. I just despise the guy.

I feel you about Carpenter. Kind of about Craig, too.

This is an awesome game. Play all night, guys.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Wainright has a .250 OB%. I would have pinch hit him.

EDIT: Nevermind he was the SP. Westbook is who I meant. he has the .250%

Miller, Westbrook, and Lynn can't hit better than Maness, who has 4 ML ABs? I have a hard time believing that.

There is something wrong with that, but not for the reasons the adage normally suggests!
