Jay was safe at the plate. It was most definitely the right call. I don't think he even tagged him to be honest. He swiped but missed.

I watched 4 different replay angles and the umpire clearly called Jay safe in each angle.
I hate when that happens when I'm too tired to stay awake long enough to keep watching.
