Yes it was cool. I get geeked every time I see Pete at the yard. He's hands down my favorite professional athlete of all time. All the poor decisions (fashion and otherwise), over the top hard headedness/ego and ridiculous commercials aside, dude played the game the right way.

Fwiw, the pirates announcers were praising Pete and saying they should induct him into the HoF before the Cincy All Star Game.

Loved seeing him last night. Enjoyed his reactions to some of the bad ball and strike calls. My favorite player of all time.

Some people here making fun of his clothes etc. are probably not the best dressers themselves.

Pete looked pretty normal last night; probably better than many a poster here did!

"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

The Pete rose shirt should be wearing a Pete Rose shirt.

That way Pete would be wearing a Pete Rose shirt wearing a Pete Rose shirt.
